Industrial Flooring Project for Aadhi Tape Solutions

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The 3M tape-cutting unit faced a significant challenge in maintaining the quality and effectiveness of their adhesive products due to the accumulation of dust on the floor. The dust further exacerbated the high traffic volume of the route along with the deteriorating bonding characteristics of the tape which led to operational problems and also affected the quality of the product. In order to address this, the facility required dust-proof surface in addition to cut down contamination that should be able to adapt with the heavy traffic and heavy machinery inside the facility under these harsh conditions.

To resolve this, we synthesized an optimized epoxy coating, optimized for the tape cutting unit's needs. This very durable epoxy coating provided the floor with a relatively tight seal because it prevented dust from settling in and from building up a clean, smooth surface that would not compromise the adhesive characteristics of the tape. The epoxy solution was selected to be tough, abrasion resistant and easy to clean, thus it should be suitable for application in high-volume industrial setting, like the tape cutting unit.

Using the introduction we started the 3M facility at maintenance levels of the conditions wanted for their tape production operations, it fostered spectacular improvement in both quality and operational efficiency of the product. The solution not only contained the immediate problem of dust contamination, but also constructed a resistant surface that could be used on the production floor and that would exhibit long term performance and reliability.
